Allan

Heat one I was out in front from the off and did 24laps/ 25 secs, which is really 23 laps in 6 mins - I reckon with better handling it would do another 2 laps = 25

Heat 2 I was again out in front but do to handling the hatch tape came off and I retired.

Whereas your best was 21 laps plus 4 or 5 = 25 or 26, but who knows?

Weren't you using an ETTI 4960KV on a CNCed 34.5 CNC against my Mega 16/30/1 (4,200Kv) on a carbon 34.5, which just shows that these makes of motors have very different characteristics under load.

Hi All,

Just thought you lads might be interested in a similar motor to the Mega 16/30/1

The HETRC 1w30 motor
KV 4400
Max const current 120 amps
6 pole 1 wind
Nominal power 1400watts

For those racing on a budget this is only £49. very competative on 2s and 2s3p A132 swing anything you want to put on it.
2s runs 36mm to 42mm prop depending on your batts.

The lads up here are running everything from 3900kv on larger hulls to 5500kv on 640mm hull.
Motors costing from £30 to £200.
